April Senior Scholarship Reminder

Please submit all applications (with all requested materials) to your School Counselor by the DUE DATE IN GUIDANCE (regardless of the date on the actual application). If you would like to submit after the date due in Guidance, it is the student's responsibility to mail/email the application on their own. Please do NOT fill out the applications in pencil or staple them together.

This list will be updated on a weekly basis. Please contact Ms. Krenn, Scholarship Coordinator, at ckrenn@hackensackschools.org

April 9	Hackensack High School Blue and Gold Scholarship	C average, HHS student, financial need
April 9	MDL Scholarship	Academic achievement, test scores, community service
April 9	The Vincent and Helen Cassel Scholarship	HHS senior, grades, activities
April 9	HHS Theater Arts Program Scholarship	2.5GPA or higher, must be part of the Arts Program for at least two years and majoring in the performing arts
April 9	Helen Jacko Scholarship	Senior majoring in Nursing or medical health related field, 2.5GPA or higher
April 9	Brett Taylor Track Scholarship	Varsity Letter Winner in Track
April 9	Armenian Relief Society Scholarship	Armenian heritage, A-B average, attending a 4 year university
April 9	Harmony Celebration Chorus	Min. 3.0 GPA, majoring/minoring in music, music education, voice, theater or related music field
April 9	Hackensack Rotary Scholarship	Seniors of HHS, Hackensack residents or dependents of city first responders, service, financial need
April 9	The Helping Angels Scholarship	Female student getting into the helping field, 3.0-3.5GPA
April 9	Unico National- Hackensack Chapter	Must have at least one parent or grandparent of Italian origin
April 12	Rising Leader Scholarship	First generation, born outside of the USA, residing in NJ for one year, attending a 4 year univesity/college
April 12	American Society of Civil Engineers	Must be a member of the ASCE chapter or club, pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering
April 15	Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation	Financial need, community involvement
April 16	New Jersey Schoolwomen's Club Scholarship	Female majoring in the field of education
April 16	The Utzinger Vellekamp Scholarship	Attending a 2/4 yr college, majoring or minoring in STEM or related field
April 16	The Jessie Banks Foundation	Minimum 3.0GPA, community service/leadership,
April 16	Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.	African American male, 2.5-4.0GPA, attending a 4yr college/university
April 16	BCSCA Scholarship	Min. 3.0 GPA, majoring in Psychology, Education or Counseling
April 23	Englewood Sports Medicine Scholarship	Majoring in Athletic Training or a Physical Therapy doctorate program
April 23	Hackensack Middle School PTA	Middle school graduate
April 23	HHS FBLA	Must be a member of FBLA for at least 1 year
April 23	Hackensack Firefighters/Fireofficers	Seniors, Hackensack resident, looking to future serve the community
April 23	Ed Church Hackensack Track and Field	Must have completed four seasons of cross country, indoor or outdoor track
April 23	Contract Coating Inc.	Attending a four year college/university, ONLY include test scores if you took the SATs/ACTs
April 23	Hackensack JR. Wrestling Scholarship	Member of our HHS wrestling team, min. 2.5GPA, junior wrestler for at least five seasons

April 23	The Columbian Italian American Philanthropic Association	academics, extracurricular activities, service to their community, and financial need but also demonstrate an interest in Italian heritage, art, music, or culture.
